he Dwarf Goat is a subspecies of the wild goat, which is originally from Central Africa and was domesticated in Southeastern Asia for about 8-9 thousand years.it is equal to other goats except in size. their maximum height is approximately of 50 cm in males and 45 cm in females.

Both sexes may have rods and their colour can be totally black, white, brown or mesh.

They are very social, curious and gentile animals. The goats very intelligent, easily trained and able to perform small tasks repeatedly, such as opening gates. They are very active and like to jump over everything, including other animals. They are able to move in reduced spaces or areas of difficult access, though naturally they prefer bush vegetation.

The dwarf goat reaches sexual maturity around the 12 months of age. the gestation period is of 150 days, and 1-3 cubs can be born. they are breastfed up until the 12 weeks of age. They live 15 to 19 years in captivity.
