The information contained on the website - www.qsf.com.pt - is property of QSF Actividades Turísticas e Agrícolas Unipessoal Lda, hereinafter simply referred to as QSF. The download, reproduction or resubmission, in part or in full, of texts or photographs for commercial purposes is strictly prohibited.

The users navigating this website may not use any software or application that interferes with its normal functioning. You may not use any application, automatic mechanism or manual process to monitor or copy the pages without QSF's prior consent and authorization.

The contents presented on this site may contain inaccuracies or outdated information. QSF may make, without prior notice, modifications, or corrections to the published information.

Payment Policy

Reservations are guaranteed upon total payment, using the available payment methods, namely Paypal, Visa, Mastercard, bank transfer and cash.

Cancellation policy

The conditions for reservation cancellation depend upon how far in advance clients notify QSF of their intent to cancel their stay:

  • If the guest cancels 8 days or more prior the check-in date, there will be a full refund of the amount paid upon reservation;
  • If the same occurs within 7 days prior to the check-in, 50% of the total amount of the reservation will be charged.
  • If the guest does not show up on the day of the booking, it is considered a "no-show", and the entire amount paid will be charged.

If QSF is charged any amount arising from commissions concerning reservation platforms, reservation coordination or reservation payment platforms, such as Booking.com, Lodgify and Stripe, respectively, such amounts will be fully discounted on the amount that eventually the guest has to receive for the cancellation of the reservation.

A guest who is already installed at our lodging can interrupt their stay at any time, but he/she will not have the right to a refund.

Terms & Conditions

I. Scope of application

The terms and conditions contained in this document concern the relationship between the potential guests and QSF, from the time of the reservation request until the end of the stay period. Any situations that are not provided for under Terms and Conditions, will be resolved under the applicable legislation.

II. Reservation Policy

Reservations can be made in person at Quinta da Sagrada Família, by phone, by email or through the website www.qsf.com.pt, as well as through reservation platforms such as Booking.com, AirBnB, Secretplaces , Expedia, Odisseias, Wonderfull Box and others with whom QSF may contract reservation services. Reservations are made upon availability. The reservation of a specific house, with specific typology, characteristics, and name, may, due to special and unexpected circumstances, be exchanged by QSF for another one of our accommodations, with distinct characteristics. QSF will refund the difference in value if a new reservation has lower pricing than the guest’s intended reservation. QSF will guarantee that the price stays the same if the exchange results in an accommodation of higher pricing.

III. Arrivals & Departures

QSF houses are available from 3 pm onward on the expected date of arrival. If a guest has not made a reservation prior to his/her arrival at QSF’s reception, the guest is subject to the lodging’s availability.

At check-in, the guest must identify himself and provide the receptionist with his/her identification document (identity card/passport).

On the day of departure, guests must leave the houses unoccupied of both people and goods until 12pm/noon. The houses must be left without any damage.

Check-in and check-out may take place outside the pre-defined hours if the availability for such is previously checked with QSF personnel.

If the house is not vacated by 12pm / noon on the day of departure without any prior justification or consent from QSF, a compensation, corresponding to the price of one night, will be immediately charged, and the guest will only be allowed to use the house during that period if a house is indeed available. Otherwise, the guest will have to pay compensation and leave the house as soon as possible.

QSF does not have a 24-hour reception service. Please let us know your arrival time.

QSF has a “Homeit” smartlock system on its premises. If a reservation is made in advance, after the reservation payment, confirmation and before the check in, the guest will be provided with an access code which will allow him to access the QSF gate and the door of the rented house, by typing the code on the existing entrance panels.

The access code is personal and non-transferable.

This code is solely valid and functional from the time of Check-in until the time of Check-out, that is, the period between 3pm on the day of entry and 3pm on the day of departure. Any access during other periods will require the approval of QSF and following code implementation by the reception services of QSF.

IV. Terms of Use

Solely the people indicated in the accommodation reservation will be entitled to use the house to stay overnight. QSF only allows for temporary stays of visitors, whether the visitors are inside the houses or in common spaces, garden included, and such visits are subject to prior consent of QSF management. Both guests and accompanying person(s), if applicable, must use the house in the proper condition, with care and consideration. Guests and accompanying person(s), if applicable, must treat other guests with consideration and respect the regulations provided in each house. Common spaces and equipment available to guests must be used adequately and left clean and in good condition.

All damage, breakage and thefts associated with guests, will be charged considering the value of the damage in question. On this website and in printed format at QSF houses, a listing of all the equipment in QSF houses is made available, as well as its respective replacement value. The replacement value concerns the amount to be paid in case of damage, theft, or robbery.

Children under the age of 14 must, always, be supervised by an adult guest during their stay at QSF.

QSF will not be responsible for personal property that may disappear within its premises. The guest must always close the doors and windows which grant access to the rented house. Please do make sure that these are properly closed.In the event of an emergency, the client must call the suitable contact provided in the existing regulations. The regulations document is in every house and the contacts in it were selected for this purpose.

Guests have the possibility to book a guided tour of Quinta da Sagrada Familia. The visits should preferably take place at the beginning or at the end of the day.  The visits do not have a set price but require a mandatory minimum consumption of the products on sale at QSF's Reception/Store. The value of this minimum consumption is €5 per person who integrates the visit, whether they are adult or child. This price may be changed, though in such circumstance, the guest will have to be notified of the change before the guided tour initiates. The visit will last approximately 60to 90 minutes.

During the visit to the farm, QSF is not responsible for any damage caused to guests by animals if these are caused by animal behavioral anomalies or any guest provocation.

V. Parking

QSF is not responsible for any theft or damage occurred to the guests' vehicles parked inside or outside Quinta da Sagrada Família.

VI. Animals

It is expressly forbidden to house animals inside QSF’s houses.

If guests bring animals into our houses, QSF management has the right to inform the guest of the obligation to leave without a refund of the amounts paid in the meantime for the availability of the room during the contracted stay period.

QSF has 5 individual kennels that can be made available to suit the needs of the guest’s dog, free of charge, though that option is obviously subject to availability.

VII. Noise

Out of respect and thoughtfulness to all the remaining guests, we ask that guests try to keep noise to a minimum in common areas.

Between the hours of 12am and 7am, any noisy activities which may disturb other guests are not allowed, in accordance with the General Regulation on Noise.

VIII. QSF's access to the House

The QSF team will have the right to enter the house, during the guests’ stay, to carry out cleaning, repairs and similar work.

IX. Price of stay and other proces

The price of the stay to be paid by the Clients regards their use of the house, during the period between their arrival and departure.

The total price of the stay will be charged per night, regardless of whether the Client used the room.

The applicable rates will be the agreed prices, or the prices established on QSF’s price list in effect on the date of the reservation request. QSF will have the right to update its prices, informing the guest in due time.

The rates and amounts indicated for the stay have an added VAT value, the legal rate in force, unless expressly stated otherwise.

QSF provides information and ongoing promotions on its website.
Offers and promotions are temporary and subject to specific pre-defined conditions.
Specific payment terms may apply to travel agencies, tour operators and other entities.

X. Payment conditions

If the duration of the Client's stay is not set, the price of the stay for each night must be paid by 12:00pm, check-out time.

QSF accepts cash, ATM, Paypal or bank transfer payments. We also accept debit and credit cards.

Checks are not accepted.

Specific payment terms may apply to travel agencies, tour operators and other entities.

XI. Complaints

There is a complaints book at the reception.

There is also the possibility of using the Electronic Complaints Book.
Any complaints or suggestions should be forwarded to the management.
If upon verification there is indeed a defect in a guest's house, QSF has the right to opt for a repair and consequently relocate the guest to a similar house, of the same category which was initially agreed with. Solely defects which are likely to jeopardize QSF's level of service and quality will be considered.

XII. QSF's obligations

QSF will be responsible for ensuring proper conditions of hygiene and cleanliness, as well as the security of the accommodation.

QSF will not be responsible for personal property that may disappear within its premises.

QSF does not assume any responsibility for loss of data provided by the guest in the event of electronic transmission of payment data, and is only liable in the event of negligence.

QSF will not be held responsible for a delay regarding the availability of a house if there is a reason of force majeure. Force majeure reasons will be those which make it impossible or more difficult to make a house available, such as strikes, blockades, natural disasters, accidents in the house or in the accommodation.

XIII. Notification duty

In the event of theft, property damage, fire, flooding or other damage to the house, the guest must immediately inform QSF's team and do everything required so to help resolve the situation in question.

XIV. Ending stays

QSF has the right to end a stay if the guest does not pay the amount due, as well as if the guest exhibits any behavior that affects acceptable coexistence, peace of mind or hygiene.

The guests may request the end of their stay at any time prior to 7:30pm, to take effect at 12pm the following day.

XV. Data protection

The guests’ personal data and that of their companion(s), if applicable, will be stored and processed by QSF and its respective service providers, in accordance with the Law, for feedback on the services provided and for advertising campaigns.

The guest will have the right to object at any time to the use of personal data for advertising purposes and must inform QSF of this request.

Unless otherwise stipulated, the guest's personal data must be deleted when the statutory retention period ends.

XVI. General clauses

These Terms and Conditions regulate the Clients’ stay at QSF and their use of the house.

The nullity of one or more of the previous clauses does not affect the validity of the remaining clauses. The invalid clause will be replaced by a valid one, one which is closest to the commercial and legal intention of the parties or , if such is not possible,  under the Portuguese legislation in force.

QSF REGULATIONS

Welcome to QSF Activities Turísticas e Agrícolas Unipessoal Lda, hereinafter referred to simply as QSF.

We hope that your stay with us is an experience of well-being and tranquility.

Please read the following information carefully, as it will be useful to you during your stay with us.

Check-out is at 12:00pm, however we can make an exception if circumstances allow. We can also store your luggage at QSF reception.

For environmental reasons, we do not wash our towels daily. If you wish to have a fresh towel, let the QSF reception staff know. As a matter of environmental concern and energy saving, we ask that our guests, whenever possible, are conscientious of air condition usage and electrical equipment, as well as with the consumption of water, so to avoid superfluous expenses.

QSF is not responsible for any damage occurring in the house you rented if such result from the direct action of guests or from the misuse of electrical equipment. Guests should avoid the use of electrical equipment in wet areas. Please be advised that it is the guests’ entire responsibility to reimburse the damage caused to the equipment and utensils made available in the house that they rented, whether this damage is caused by faulty use, loss, theft or robbery.

QSF declines any responsibility for the custody and safety of children who are unsupervised by an adult. Guests must ensure that children are always accompanied and supervised by an adult.

QSF is not responsible for the disappearance of property and valuables of its guests, nor for the theft or robbery of vehicles parked inside the Quinta da Sagrada Família, and/or objects in its interior, as well as for damage caused by third parties to these vehicles.

In the Covid 19 context, the guidelines of the Directorate General for Health, internal rules and regulations must also be respected.

Our establishment has a complaints book at the reception and also an electronic complaints book.

It is forbidden to smoke inside the houses. You can do it outdoors, outside the house’s premises, but please be mindful of other guests.
